Lake Nona Chess Club

The Lake Nona Chess Club is dedicated to uniting players of all ages and skill levels from Lake Nona and the greater Orlando, FL community. Under the leadership of Coach Phil, who became club president in the summer of 2025, the club is focused on growing its membership and sharing the joy of chess through a fun, supportive group environment. Members receive group lessons at each meeting, have the option to book additional private coaching sessions, and are encouraged to compete regularly—with Coach Phil providing guidance, strategy support, and motivation every step of the way.

Meeting Schedule

Location: Mathnasium of Lake Nona
Regular Season: September – May
Schedule: Bi-weekly on Sundays, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

• First-time attendees can join their first session for FREE!
